Collection: Erin Lewins

Erin Lewins is an oil painter who uses hyper-realism to extract different elements of her surroundings. 

Having grown up in Brighton, she is fascinated with the aesthetics of coastal towns; outdated advertisements, decorative sign painting, bold striped beach huts and vibrant fairground rides. 

Her work applies surrealism to the city, building the feeling of heightened emotions such as deep nostalgia, romance and excitement to create a dream-like world from the ordinary. 

She graduated from Camberwell College of Arts in 2024, having studied Fine Art: Painting. She has since then returned to Brighton and her practice continues to be influenced by the seaside.
